Heron Way School Uniform

We are delighted to announce that from September 2017 Marks and Spencer will be an additional supplier for our school uniform.  We will continue to use Broadbridges as a supplier for our uniform; however, in a world where time is so precious, many of us turn to the internet for a convenient way of shopping.

Outer Wear

In winter, children need a warm waterproof school coat.  Denim, leather or fur jackets are not considered suitable for school.

In summer an anorak, cagoule or similar should be brought to school when the weather is unsettled.

Footwear

Shoes should be suitable for school wear enabling your child to play safely at playtimes.  Therefore shoes must not have high heels or wedges.  Children should not wear trainers to school.

Winter       -                       Black  shoes

Summer    -                      Black or white shoes or sandals (sling backed shoes or sandals are not acceptable)

We would be very grateful if in the wet weather you would provide your children with some form of light indoor footwear rather than ask them to wear plimsolls or wellington boots in school.  Boots may not be worn in school.

All children should be in winter uniform at the start of the Autumn Term.

Shoulder length hair should for safety and hygiene reasons be tied back from the face. Hair styles should not be extreme and hair lines should be blended as opposed to severe or shaved. Hair gel, mousse etc should not be worn to school.

No jewellery should be worn to school.  If children have pierced ears only gold studs should be worn, no earrings of any kind are allowed.  Studs must be removed during all PE lessons.
